Introverted House

The Introverted House is an exploration of architecture as refuge. It challenges the conventional aspiration for openness by suggesting that privacy, silence, and carefully curated experiences of light and nature can create a richer life.

The project is conceived as a sequence of enclosed volumes wrapped by a modest perimeter wall. From the street, the architecture reveals little of its internal life. The entrance acts as a threshold between the public realm and the intimate world within.
